At Serenity Sips Bar & Wellness Emporium, founders Ryan and CJ Potter have cultivated more than just a business—they’ve established a wellness center that is a community-centric, veteran- and woman-owned enterprise deeply committed to local empowerment and wellness in Spring/ The Woodlands, TX.
Ryan Potter enriches Serenity Sips with over 31 years of management and customer service experience, honed through a career that emphasizes leadership, operational excellence, and community engagement. His dedication to service is deeply personal, rooted in his family's military legacy, which includes his father’s 29 years of service and his own, further mirrored by CJ's service in the Army National Guard.
CJ Potter, who holds an MBA from Sam Houston State University, has been instrumental at The Woodlands Institute for Health and Wellness since 2011, working under Dr. Mila McManus. Her commitment extends beyond healthcare; she actively supports small businesses, fostering local growth and sustainability.
Together, Ryan and CJ infuse Serenity Sips with a spirit of honor and commitment, creating a welcoming space that not only drives the business forward but also enriches the local community. Their combined efforts establish Serenity Sips as a cornerstone of community support and wellness, embodying their shared values and dedication to enhancing community life.
Our Team
Our management team includes Ops Dir Gracie Aguilar, sister to CJ; General Manager Hailey Cavanaugh, niece to Ryan and CJ; Assistant Manager Teresa Thomason, Hailey’s mom; and Accounting Manager Gracie Reyna, CJ's mom.
We are proud to have our family and close-knit team members—Rich Reyna, Christian Valle, Jade Valle, Gavin Aguilar, and seasonal team members (when home from college), Preston Sample and Hailey Aguilar—helping us bring Serenity Sips to life. Additional support comes from Vickie Potter, Cyrus Valle, and Justin William, who assist with promotional items, special projects, testing products, and modeling.
We are also deeply grateful to Richard Reyna and Victor Sortos from Goodworks Enterprises, whose craftsmanship and dedication helped make Serenity Sips the beautiful sanctuary it is today.
Furthermore, we owe a huge thank you to our extended family and friends, whose unwavering support and contributions have been crucial in bringing Serenity Sips to fruition and opening our doors to all of you.
And, of course, no family is complete without our loyal service dog, Gogo Gadget, who brings an extra layer of comfort and support to our team and family.
Dr. Mila McManus, Medical Director
Dr. Mila McManus, Medical Director at Serenity Sips, is a pioneer in functional medicine. She founded The Woodlands Institute for Health and Wellness in 2004, after becoming certified by the American Academy of Biologically Identical Hormone Therapy. Dr. McManus specializes in uncovering and addressing the root causes of various health issues.
As a board-certified anti-aging specialist, Dr. McManus actively participates in several prestigious medical organizations. She is dedicated to educating the public about alternative and complementary medicine through community outreach projects and distributing a weekly eNewsletter.
Dr. McManus is renowned for her expertise in treating chronic infections, such as Lyme disease, and providing complementary therapies to cancer patients. She is currently expanding her practice to include Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT), further enhancing her comprehensive care offerings.
